Erika Goldwater, Director of Global Communications for inriver, named in ‘20 Women to Watch’ Annual Recognition Program

Leadership award recognizes strength across the disciplines of sales and marketing

BOSTONNovember 26, 2019Inriver, the leading provider of SaaS-based product information management (PIM) solution, today announced Erika Goldwater, director of global communications, was recognized as one of the winners of the ‘20 Women in Business’ leadership recognition program by the Sales Lead Management Association (SLMA).

“This is the ninth year of this leadership recognition program and the twenty women selected by the judges have many things in common,” said James Obermayer, CEO, SLMA. “They have strong business accomplishments, serve on business and non-profit boards, advanced degrees, and a record of giving back to their communities and industries. Erika checks these boxes and more, and we are proud that she has won two times in nine years.”

Goldwater joined inriver to lead the global communications team driving public relations, content marketing, and social media. She brings over 15 years of B2B marketing, demand generation, content marketing, and public relations experience in companies like ANNUITAS, Leadspace, and Eloqua (Oracle). She’s had her information privacy professional (CIPP/US) certificate since 2008.

“We are thrilled to see Erika recognized for her leadership with this industry award,” said Thor Johnson, former CEO, inRiver. “It’s been my pleasure to work with Erika in several companies over the years. Her vision, drive and impact produce visible results and help build better, more effective teams wherever she goes.”

“I’m honored to be recognized by SLMA for this award and am proud to be included in this community of strong women in business,” said Goldwater. “I try to be a good leader by inspiring others, being willing to fail and learn from my mistakes, and by always lifting others up.”

Goldwater hosts SLMA Radio with guest Ellie Mirman, CMO of Crayon, another winner of the ’20 Woman in Business” here. Tune into SLMA Radio as they discuss the value of data in marketing, the vibrant Boston martech scene, and insights into what makes a successful leader today.
