“If you are strong you need to be nice”

At inRiver we are stimulated by contributing to and influencing our environment. Our High Five values guide us in responsibility, trust, and joy, and provide the foundation for how we act together and develop our company as we move forward. Our inspiration and determination to give back to those less fortunate than ourselves is strong and focused. Engaged inRiverians in both Europe and North America drive our initiatives forward.
With the inRiver Sustainability Initiative, we embrace the responsibility and opportunity to make a difference by supporting designated foundations that connect our two selected Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations for sustainable development.
End hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition and promote sustainable agriculture
Together with The Hunger Project we support Epicenters in Ghana with the goal to be self-sufficient via micro loans. This cooperation is a strategic initiative where we combine the roots of inRiver; entrepreneurship as well as our core values.
The UN goal is to achieve gender equality and empowerment of women and girls. Equality is essential to us as a company. Within IT companies, women have, historically, been a minority. At inRiver, we work continuously to change this situation with our employer branding, recruitment, equality policy, and goals. In turn, The Hunger Project empowers women to work and drive their communities forward. We are very proud to support this initiative.
inRiver’s support for The Hunger Project means that 700 people can participate in the Hunger Project's self-sufficiency program. Self-sufficiency means that people living in chronic hunger in Ghana's countryside will gain the knowledge and tools to lead and push their development out of poverty—once and for all.
